Andy Quick is a genre-defying musician and independent powerhouse of the South West music scene. Renowned for his dynamic performances and exceptional songwriting skills, Andy is the driving force and frontman of festival favourites Land of The Giants  and The Andy Quick Band. Over his 14 year career Andy has delivered hundreds of killer shows connecting with thousands of music lovers across the land and set countless dance floors alight with his mongrel blend of funk, rock, rap, indie and reggae.

Andy’s music is as vibrant and eclectic as his imagination. His diverse and dynamic musical projects, each impossible to pigeon hole, have been the vehicles for his creative expression and he has collaborated with many musicians and producers in his 14 year career. 

Together, they have manifested a unique sound and a catalogue of highly original songs. Self funding, producing and releasing 6 records and a number of singles, each one a testament to Andy’s innovative songwriting and his commitment to pushing the boundaries of his craft.

But it's not just in the studio where Andy shines. He is a force to be reckoned with on stage, delivering electrifying performances that captivate audiences; Andy Quick's shows are known for their infectious energy and raw passion, resulting in dance floors being either set alight or destroyed altogether!

Born in Plymouth and raised in Lancashire Andy has an undeniably salt of the Earth spirit and an enduring hunger to spread his uplifting and lyrically rich music far and wide.  

Self taught, self managed and self motivated, he is a fiercely independent singer-songwriter and is a testament to the power of a DIY work ethic in the music industry.  

Born and raised in a working-class family Quick has never lost sight of his roots which are firmly planted in the soil of community and family life, and wanting a better, fairer and ultimately more fun society for everyone. These foundations, combined with the sheer joy of playing live, are the driving forces behind his relentless pursuit of musical excellence and an ever deepening connection with his audience. 

This authentic approach has helped to organically attract a loyal fanbase and has lead to repeat opportunities to perform on some of the UK’s best festival stages.

If 2023 was about shaping the Andy Quick Band’s sound and maximising the stage show then 2024 will be the year when Andy’s labours bear fruit with an extensive album tour and a summer of festival stages. 

At the time of writing The Andy Quick Band are midway through recording a 12 track album set for release in spring 2024. With this record, Andy is attempting to capture the hype and inspired energy of a live show marinated in a summer of main stages and roaring crowds. An innovative sound that somehow rolls from easy, sunshine swagger, to huge, hot, heart-aching lyricism. From ecstatic starlit hedonism to tectonic, seismic rage and everything in between.

In a world where authenticity can often be hard to find, Andy Quick stands out as a true original. His music, his values, and his unwavering commitment to his craft make him a fine example of what it means to be a truly independent artist.
